Questions
What should I pack for a festival?
Tickets and ID, cash and cards, a tent, sleeping bag and mat, a headlamp, earplugs, a warm layer for the night, rain gear, boots you don't mind ruining, sunscreen, wet wipes, toilet paper, a power bank and a water bottle. For the group: a stove, pots, a cooler, water, shade, a first-aid kit and rubbish bags.
How do we avoid four people bringing the same stove?
Mark the item as Shared and write one name next to it. Then send the list to the group: everyone sees who brings the stove, the cooler and the first-aid kit, and packs only their own things.
If I share the link, do my friends' ticks show up on my list?
No. The link carries a copy of the list as it was when you shared it; whoever opens it gets their own copy, and their ticks stay on their device. For one list the whole group ticks together, use the Lumela app.
Is it free, and where is my list stored?
It's free, with no account and no ads. The list is saved only in this browser, and keeps working offline once the page has loaded. Nothing you type is sent to Lumela or anyone else.
Can I print the packing list?
Yes. Print gives a clean page with only the checklist — boxes to tick by hand, and the name next to every shared item.
