Tap the download, then open the file you just downloaded — not an older lumela.apk already in your Downloads folder, which would reinstall the version you're on. Android asks once for permission to install from your browser.

Name it after the trip. Everything you add afterwards belongs to it, and you can have more than one.
Send the invite link
One link in the chat. People who don't have the app yet get sent to install it and land straight in the group afterwards.
Add one real thing
The departure time, or the first expense. Groups that add something real in the first session are the ones that keep using it.

Why is Android an APK and not Google Play?
The Play listing is in Google's closed-testing requirement, which needs 12 testers running the app for two consecutive weeks before an app can go public. The APK here is the same app; Play will follow — and you can help it get there.
Is installing an APK safe?
It's the same app, signed with the same key every time, downloaded over HTTPS from this site. Android will ask you to allow installs from your browser once — that prompt is the system doing its job. Only ever install it from lumela.tours.
It says I already have this version — why?
Almost always because an older lumela.apk is still sitting in your Downloads folder and you opened that one instead of the new file. Each release is served under a version-stamped filename — open the file you just downloaded, not the first match in the list.
Can I use it without installing anything?
Yes — the web app runs in any modern browser and shares the same account and the same trips. It's the fastest way to try it, or to let someone join from a laptop.
