About Ultra Music Festival 2027
Ultra Music Festival is one of the world's largest and longest-running electronic dance music festivals, held annually at Bayfront Park, a waterfront park in Downtown Miami on Biscayne Bay. The 2027 edition marks its 27th year and runs March 26-28, spread across multiple stages including the Main Stage, Live Stage, Worldwide Stage, and the underground-focused RESISTANCE Megastructure and Cove, each dedicated to different strains of house, techno, trance, and bass music. It draws a mix of mainstream EDM headliners and respected underground DJs, making it a destination for both first-time festivalgoers chasing big-stage production and dedicated electronic-music fans seeking niche sets and debut collaborations. The venue sits in the heart of Downtown Miami, reachable on foot from the free Metromover elevated rail, about a mile from the MiamiCentral regional rail/Brightline station, with no on-site camping — most attendees stay in Downtown Miami or Brickell hotels. Entry requires photo ID daily (18+ for general admission, 21+ for VIP and alcohol), small/clear bags only, and no re-entry once inside for the day.

Checklist for Ultra Music Festival 2027
- Bring only a clear bag or small bag no larger than 13" x 17" (fanny packs/small clutches OK) — standard backpacks and large bags will be denied at entry.
- Three-day GA and VIP wristbands are issued once and worn for the whole weekend — treat the wristband like a ticket; it cannot be easily replaced if lost or damaged.
- Bring physical, valid photo ID every day — photos of ID on your phone are explicitly not accepted; 18+ for general admission, 21+ required for VIP areas and any alcohol purchase.
- No re-entry once inside the festival grounds on a given day — plan bathroom breaks, food, and meetups assuming you cannot leave and come back.
- Late March in Miami runs hot and humid (highs typically around 27-29°C / 80-85°F) with full sun exposure over Bayfront Park's open waterfront grounds — bring sunscreen, a hat, and plan for electrolyte
- Refillable water bottles are generally allowed empty and there are free water refill/misting stations on site — fill up rather than buying single-use bottles repeatedly.
- Use the Metromover (free) to reach the venue directly, or get dropped off several blocks away — rideshare pickup/drop-off near Bayfront Park gets heavily congested during ingress/egress, especially af
- No camping or overnight stays at or near the park — plan separate lodging in Downtown Miami/Brickell and factor walking distance or Metromover access when booking.
- Phase 1 lineup (announced Oct 15, 2026) covers only part of the bill — more artists, and all set times/stage assignments, are still to be announced; don't lock in a day-by-day plan yet.
- Festival hours differ by day — Friday 4pm-midnight is shorter than Saturday/Sunday's noon-midnight/10pm windows, so arrive later on day one if you don't want a long wait before gates matter.
