About Electric Avenue
Electric Avenue is New Zealand's biggest music festival, a sold-out two-day takeover of North Hagley Park in central Christchurch on 26-27 February 2027. Founded in 2015 and now run by Team Events in partnership with Live Nation, it mixes international headliners with a strong local Aotearoa lineup across five stages (Electric Stage, Park Stage, The Hangar, Cosmic Palace and Circo Disco). 2027 is headlined by Kings of Leon on the Friday and Calvin Harris on the Saturday, with support from Jungle, Underworld, Kehlani, Tove Lo, Major Lazer, Kasabian, Gorgon City and a deep bench of NZ artists including Fat Freddy's Drop, Home Brew and Ladyhawke. It is a flat, walkable city-park festival (not a campsite festival) 18+ only, cashless, with no on-site parking and no pass-outs once you enter.
