About Dreamstate SoCal 2026
Dreamstate SoCal is Insomniac's flagship trance-focused festival, now in its 11th edition, drawing a dedicated trance-fan crowd rather than a general EDM audience. For 2026 the festival relocated from its longtime home at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino to the Queen Mary Waterfront in Long Beach, CA, adding a new Long Beach Amphitheater stage for its harder/darker 'Void' stage alongside the existing Dream, Vision, Sequence and BeatBox art-car stages. The two-day event (Fri Nov 20 - Sat Nov 21, 2026) runs 4 PM-1 AM each night plus ticketed after-hours parties, and is 18+ to enter / 21+ to drink, with no on-site camping or parking — attendees use free shuttles from the Long Beach Convention Center or walk in via the Queensway Bridge. The nearest major airports are Long Beach Airport (LGB, ~15-20 min) and Los Angeles International (LAX, ~30-40 min depending on traffic). It suits trance purists and uplifting/psy/progressive-trance fans more than casual festivalgoers, given the genre-specific booking and immersive, less mainstream production style.
